1 Peter 2:23-25

²³ when He was reviled,
He did not revile in return;
when He was suffering,
He did not threaten
but entrusted Himself to the One who judges^(A) justly.
²⁴ He Himself bore our sins^(B)
in His body^(C) on the tree,^(D)
so that, having died to sins,^(E)
we might live for righteousness;^(F)
you have been healed by His wounds.^(G)[a]
25 For you were like sheep going astray,^(H)[b]
but you have now returned
to the Shepherd^(I) and Guardian^[c] of your souls.
